About
IONNA is a synth-pop duo from Richmond, Virginia — co-writers and producers Soraya Teschner and Ross Wright.
Together they create a cinematic sonic blend of 70s disco melodies, 80s synth textures and modern indie dance. Their debut album “IONNAVERSE” (October 2025) takes listeners on a journey of reinvention with the title character — an alien cyborg — as she learns how to be human. When IONNA takes the stage, they perform with infectious energy, interactive moments and original visuals.
